How do I join?

All of our workshops and classes are open to the public, but an ASPECC membership gives you discounted rates and may entitle you to Members only events check out our memberships page.! However, some social spaces are hosted by other groups and organizations and may have their own entrance requirements.

Can I Volunteer?

Always!  There are many opportunities to volunteer, both directly for us as well as for our network of sex positive organizations.  Volunteers are required to get a background check completed prior to their first shift.

What does Sex Positive mean?

Sex positive is not the same as sex permissive.  Sex positive means a lot of things, from being comfortable with your own sexuality to accepting that sexuality is a very personalized and therefore diverse experience.   Check HERE for a full definition.

Can I offer a workshop/presentation/event at ASPECC?

We welcome presenters and event coordinators to apply to hold their workshop or event at ASPECC! click on the appropriate application, fill out and return to bookings(at)aspecc.ca

How old do I have to be to attend the centre?

This depends on what you want to attend.  We do have youth events, but as most of our workshops deal with information about sex and sexuality you may require a parent/guardian to come with you.  Each class and event on the calendar has the age requirements on it.

What Exactly is Taste of Kink?

Demo & Try stations will include at least three of the following (each month will vary):

-Wax Play
-Spanking
-Flogging
-Rope Bondage
-Violet Wand
-Body Control

Each station will allow for you to explore the techniques and sensations, both guided and on your own.
