Mandie LJ (they/she) is a queer artist from Edmonton AB. When they are not making art, they either excited/agonizing about making art, engaged in queer activism, jamming with their band of queer and trans babes, writing songs and poems, watching horror movies, or taking chronically ill downtime. She hopes for eternal summer, universal inclusivity and acceptance of all people and all bodies, and to share vulnerability and authenticity with as many humans as possible.

Maddy Willock is a 16 year old artist who currently attends Spruce Grove Composite High School. Maddy has been taking art more seriously the past few years, looking for any way to artistically grow. The majority of Maddy’s work falls under the Fantasy genre, with almost all of her pieces she strives for surrealism. Maddy creates digital and traditional art, her traditional art ranging from simply inked pieces, to marker pieces, water colour and acrylic.
Lauren Ritchie (He/they) is a young artist from Leduc, AB. He has been making art ever since he could hold a drawing utensil, and continued to practice (formally) throughout his years in high school He mainly paints with acrylics and oil, sometimes dabbling in pencil drawing. His work tends to focus on portrayals of the human body, love, and queer thought. When he isn’t procrastinating, he’s usually attempting to read a book , writing poetry, going for bike-rides, or re0watching episodes of Hannibal.

Emmerson Cooper is a Edmonton/Vancouver Island based artist that’s lived and breathed the arts since birth. Almost completely self taught, Emmerson prides herself in her musical abilities and sketch art. In addition to sketching and music, she also dabbles in various painting styles and pastels.

Sam Schembri is a talented artist who finished her second year of Visual Arts at the University of Alberta. They are headed to Emily Carr next year and have a lot of Queer art to share! Their artwork includes oil, acrylic, screen printing, woodcut prints, photography, collages, magazines and videos! She often explores art that discusses sexuality, gender, relationships, or the representation of the nude body. Her passion lies in social identity art and she hopes to engage with all viewers.
Princess Hopeless (They/Them) loves to work with a variety of mediums, from pastels to paints, markers to computer generated. They enjoy fantasy art, mixing mediums and breaking rules.
