Our Annual Meeting is coming right up! We will be updating our community and stakeholders as to our year in review, our current programming and our upcoming program launches. The annual meeting is a great way to get to know the organization! You will also be welcome to ask questions, review the books, or make suggestions after the board elections.

We elect our board during the board elections. We do our best to ensure there is a mix of one and two year appointments to ensure the board has a degree of cohesiveness. While all folk are invited to the meeting, only those with a voting membership are permitted to vote. HERE is where you can read about the different levels of membership.

Theo Marsan he/they: Theo was elected last year for a two year term. There is no open president position
VP/CEO: (One Position Available)
NEW APPLICATION! Angel Sumka (they/them). Angel has served on the board before, and has been part of ASPECC from the start.
Treasurer/Secretary: (One Position Available)
NEW APPLICATION! ARI (She/Her) seeks to join the board this year! She is passionate about sex positivity and has extensive NPO Experience. Ari is a provinsional psychologist with extensive experience working with NPO’s that are inclusive. She is putting her name forward for a one year term
NEW APPLICATION! Kaitlyn Maycock she/her has put her name forward as treasurer, for a two year position! Kaitlyn is a long time supporter with bookeeping experience, who is thrilled to support ASPECC’s inclusion and sex positivity by serving the board.
General Board Members (Five Positions Available)
Violet Runge she/her: Violet has been on the board for a couple of years, and is passionate about sexual health, inclusion, consent and sex positivity. She chairs the TPC subcommittee and hosts many of the fundraising events. She seeks to continue in this capacity for a one year term.

Sukrit Ahlawalia she/her: Sukrit has served on the board for two terms. THANK YOU Sukrit for yoru service!

NEW APPLICAITON! Bren Beauchap (she/her) is a masters of counselling student with extensive life experience advocating for transgender rights and sex positive culture. Bren looks forward to working with the board to support ASPECC’s growth across Canada. Bren has put her name forward for the 2 year term of general board member.
NEW APPLICATION! Diana Lesperance (she/her) is a masters of counselling student with a deep passion for inclusion and sex education.
