There’s a lot of information on pregnancy and caring for a family — on the Internet, in books and from other people. But, too much information can be confusing, especially when you hear different things from different sources. That’s why we asked expectant and new parents what they wanted to learn and invited health experts from across Alberta to contribute.

Treaty Land Acknowledgement

ASPECC is located in ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) (Beaver Hill House) on Treaty 6 Territory, unceded, stolen land, home, traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route of the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux. We stand with those who have suffered at the hands of colonization, which continues today, and we are committed to actively work towards reconciliation and the restoration of land rights.
