Like, way more prevalent than I had thought..
I am curious too about intersex people having children. From here: https://www.advocate.com/commentary/2019/10/26/8-misconceptions-myths-about-being-intersex-debunked it says “There are intersex people who can have periods and carry children, and intersex people who can produce sperm. There are some who can’t.” What really surprised me was how diverse this group of people are when it comes to sex characteristics. I imagine that isolation is a problem because they feel like they are the only one, due to the stigma and silence around intersex topics.
