While I do see the value in teaching kids friendship skills at a younger age, and can see why it aimed at younger kids for this reason, I think there would be value in expanding the curriculum to teach older kids as well. Things like how to balance friendships and romantic relationships for instance, as it’s rather common when someone gets into their first (or even first few) romantic relationship that they will neglect their friendships. I think teaching kids how to properly balance relationships could be quite beneficial, for balancing all types of relationships, be they familial, platonic, romantic, or other.
