Sex Positive Culture:

From consent to gender, this workshop explores sex positivity,

the barriers to being sex positive, and tools for developing self

positivity.  Rich with content, there are activities, discussions,

and resources to explore, as well as some personal

disclosures that are relevant.

Kink Aware Professionals:

This workshop provides you with a comprehensive understanding of

BDSM & Kink, as it relates to professionals who many have clients

from alternative lifestyles.

We will explore the different types of activities, roles and

philosophies that are found in the BDSM community and/

or lifestyle, explore how this type of lifestyle is stigmatized

and can create barriers to service, and how we as professionals

can mitigate that stigma and reduce those barriers.

This is a lengthy workshop, rich with content, resources and information.

Confused or worried about consent?  This workshop explores

consent in theory and practice.

Participants will learn about the components of consent, the

ways in which consent is obtained and given, and how to

recognize when they have consent.

Anal Sex Guide

Anal sex can be intensely pleasurable, regardless of your

body parts,  when explored with gentle patience

and knowledge. This presentation provides folks with

information about the safety, risk reduction, pleasure

increasing and communication strategies to enjoy

exploring anal sex, solo or with a partner.

Safe(r) Space peer training

What do you do if you see someone being harassed?  How do you even know

if they ARE being harassed?

It is hard to act sometimes, and if we don’t know when to intervene,

or what that might look like, it can be even more challenging.

This in depth workshop was built on the frame work provided by

Stand Up! (with permission), a successful bystander intervention

workshop intended for college aged students.

ASPECC has added some mature scenarios and perspectives

to this content to create our Safe(r) Space Peer mentors.  You can

take this workshop if you want to be a peer mentor at our events,

or just to learn more about how to step in when needed.

Negotiating for Sex, Play, Love

It is all well and good to say that we need to talk about sex and touch

before doing anything, but how exactly do we do that?
This presentation will provide learners with frameworks and

examples they can use to ensure that they are engaging with

their lovers, friends, partners and playmates in consensual and

empowering ways.

Sex Ed for Grownups!

Are you tired of your grandchildren knowing more about

sexuality, sexual health and pleasure than you know?

Want to get up to date on information about consent,

the LGBT+ community and more?

This workshop is for you!  This workshop does NOT

explore pregnancy nor puberty, but instead focuses on

topics beyond contraception.

Your Brain on Kink/Sex

Our brains are amazing, capable of creating intense pleasure,

and sex and kinky play are certainly a wonderful example of

how our brains work! This workshop explains some of the

inner workings of our brain as we experience intense sensation

We often are more focused on learning how to talk about sex,

how to do the sexy things, than ensuring our partner(s) is/are

feeling loved and supported after.   In order to foster a feeling of

safety and respect in our intimate relationships we may need to

explore aftercare, the ways in which we touch base and reassure

one another AFTER doing something incredibly sexy, adventurous

or intimate.

This three unit workshop explores the movement that brought

us #metoo, the impact on society, and ways to move forward

to a fostering a culture where we can reduce intimate violence.

Prostate Play and Pegging

Folks with prostates can experience intense sensations from

exploring their prostate, with our without a partner.  This workshop

will take the learners through some basic anatomy, the risks

and risk reduction strategies, the techniques and more!
