Get your swords or wands ready for LGBTQIA2S+ Youth Dungeons & Dragons! A youth campaign will be held on the third Sunday of each month from 6:30PM – 8:30PM at ASPECC (12031-76 Street NW, Edmonton, AB).
Have you always wanted to learn how to play D&D? Just looking for a way to socialize and have fun and have no idea what D&D is? Either way, this campaign could be for you! D&D is a paper role-playing game, (volunteer Maddy says its like a “paper video game”, which is like a “combination of math and improvising”).
All supplies will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own if you so desire. Session one will begin mostly with character building, and Dungeon Master Sammy will guide participants through the process with help from our youth volunteers.
This event is FREE and for youths ages 14-24 identifying as LGBTQIA2S+, and guests of these youth. Light snacks will be provided, but if youths are attending the art club as well in the afternoon, it is suggested that they pack a more substantial meal for the duration of the events.
Hosted by ASPECC’s Youth Team. All youth team members have a current vulnerable sectors check on file and have completed ASPECC volunteer training in order to work at ASPECC during Queer Youth Events.
